Project 6: Empowering Women to Style

She's your partner in crime. She encourages your creativity, weirdness and self-expression. All your best memories, sad moments, happy moments, EVERYTHING has been with her. That's right people; I'm talking about your sister and when it comes to starting a new clothing line, who better to embark on such an exciting and stylish journey than with your other half?

Just ask Shaindy and Chaya, the two ladies behind Project 6, a new clothing company that's goal is to redefine basics by having their frocks be the building blocks. They want women (that's you) to style in a form that expresses themselves. (When's the last time you were shopping, saw a sweater with a shirt collar attached and thought, "Um, excuse me? I know how to dress myself, thank-you-very-much").

Project 6 got it's name because of Shaindy's 5 children. Just like a child, Project 6 is a chic endeavor that Shaindy and Chaya will nurture, watch grow and learn from (and hopefully see it become successful).

This collection is the embodiment of "opposites attract". Just look at this killer dress:

One side says, "Hi! When are we meeting for brunch? The other side proudly proclaims, "I am worthy of sitting front-row at the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter show". Bottom line: This piece mixes the classic with the modern effortlessly.

Each piece is designed with a light and clean asthetic, yet boasts innovative and unexpected drapery and construction.

See what I mean? This Droncho (dress + poncho) can be worn as is, or with cigarette jeans and black pointy pumps for a streamlined look.

I wish the best of luck to Chaya and Shaindy! xooxo

These frocks and more are available here!
