Young, Wild and FREE

With the end of summer not-so-slowly sneaking up on us and summer night temperatures plunging to a freezing 66 degrees, it started reminding me that summer music festival season is also coming to a close. (At least in the northeast portion of the United States). I can't beleive that next weekend is already going to be Labor Day (which means Electric Zoo) and the last hurrah for college-bound kinderlach (Yiddish for kiddies) and recent grads who are starting their first real people jobs.

When going to outdoor music festivals such as Electric Zoo or Made in America, I like to dress light, be comfortable and let my inner tribal child roam free. What is a tribal child you ask? Besides running around, letting your soul get lost in the music and dancing like no one is watching, a tribal child likes to adhere to the 3 F's when getting dressed to go to a music festival. These are: Flowers, Feathers and Fringe. Lot's and LOT'S of fringe. These 3 F's are all synonymous with frivolity, fun and an all-around chill vibe.

When I think of these 3 F's, one Israeli brand immediately comes to mind- Sister M. Sister M was founded in 2008 by Raya and Meital Mitrani. Meital graduated Beztalel academy for art & design and Raya from Shenkar academy for fashion & design. This pair gets inspired for their accessories by anything and everything that has to do with nature, authentic cultures and fantasy in general.

Here are some of my favorites, which are all available on www.sisterm.co.il

Whichever music festival you plan on going to, remember, let your tribal child free!
