When a fashion brand's past runway show venues include concert halls, hangars at the Namal (port) in Tel Aviv and entire parks, you know they are rockstars. One such a brand debuted their Autumn Winter 2014-15 collection last night at Ganei Hataarucha in Tel Aviv.
Founded by Greek Jew, Aaron Castro in 1950, Castro has been around for almost as long as the State of Israel itself and the fashion brand are still going strong. Last night's collection featured rich burgandys, mustards, greys, sophisticated leathers used on unexpected garments, bold fall flower motifs and stunning kaleidoscope designs that looked like something straight out of a Moroccan palace.
Prices range from $46 for a beaded belt to $263 for a black coat with an embroidered and beaded collar.
Here I've picked out some of my favorite pieces from the collection. It's all available now on www.castro.com
